Childcare Riverstone

Raising Stars Riverstone

Welcome Riverstone to the Raising Stars family. Opening in 2025 – leave your expression of interest for upcoming enrolment!

We are pleased to present the newest addition to the Raising Stars family – our new Riverstone Early Learning Centre. Providing the same high-quality childcare as our Five Dock and Gregory Hills centres, Raising Stars Riverstone will be open in early 2025 for enrolments of children between the ages of six weeks and six years.

With every centre, we aim to create an environment that feels like home away from home for children. And our Riverstone childcare centre is no different – our educators are passionate about creating the starting blocks of education. However, education is just one aspect of our childcare service – here at Raising Stars, we aim to provide a space for children (and their families) to feel safe, secure, engaged, and part of a community. Open to the local Riverstone community in early 2025, Raising Stars is excited to get to know the little ones of North West Sydney – we welcome families across neighbouring suburbs of Tallawong, Box Hill, Grantham Farm, Angus, Richards, Vineyard, Oakville, Gables, Nelson, Rouse Hill, The Ponds, Marsden Park, Schofields, Colebee, and Quakers Hill.

Long daycare in Riverstone – opening hours are 7am – 6pm, Monday through Friday. Hours designed to meet the needs of busy families.

Riverstone Early Childhood Education

Riverstone is a new, spacious childcare centre in Sydney’s north west, with both indoor and outdoor settings. Our early childhood learning programs are built around play-based learning, where children are given an opportunity to discover the world around them in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.

Our Riverstone childcare educators tailor each day around the interests and needs of children – with everything from Italian classes, to science lessons, dance afternoons, and reading nooks set up throughout our centre. Each child is given the chance to decide how they wish to play and learn – something that our the Raising Stars family believe is imperative for a fulfilling early learning experience.

For parents and families, we understand that choosing a new daycare or childcare centre can be daunting. We welcome you to visit our Riverstone centre to get to know our facility, our educators, and our approach to early learning.

We are very happy with Raising Stars! Before enrolling my daughter here, I visited four other centers, and Raising Stars was by far the best. From the moment you arrive, you get good vibes—there’s a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The teachers are wonderful and genuinely care about the kids. My daughter is always happy and safe throughout the day. I highly recommend Raising Stars to any parent looking for a nurturing and caring environment for their child.

Its never easy choosing a day care for your child but am glad my partner did all the hard yards and found Raising Stars. Throughout the last 3 years the team have demonstrated this by providing a high level of care in a warm and homey environment. It was a pleasure to drop off and pick up our child, having the peace mind whilst being at work. Again thanks to the team at Raising Stars thanks for supporting our child, he will never forget countless memorable moments at Raising Stars.

If anyone is looking for daycare, go to Raising Star!! Staff, educators are fantastic. They offer tons of daily sensory activities and events. Parents can access to child’s activity through the app: pictures, food, sleep, nappy changes. My son has learned so much at the centre. The facilities are great, too. All indoors, but play area is huge, no worry about getting wet in rainy days. Parking is in the basement, again rain proof. Thank you so much, ladies. You guys are the best!! 🙂

Frequently Asked Questions

How old does my child need to be to attend daycare?

We provide childcare for children as young as six weeks, up to children who are getting ready for school and are six years old. There is no minimum age to start daycare in Australia – it’s completely up to you as a parent or guardian!

At Raising Stars, we provide tailored care to each child to ensure they are getting their needs met for their specific age bracket. We understand how stressful it can be to find the right childcare for busy parents – whether your little one be an infant, a toddler, or in their early stages of learning, we can provide nurturing, engaging, and fulfilling day care.

What do we need to have packed each day?

We supply all cot sheets, sun safety, meals, and the fun! We ask that your little one also has packed:

  • Water bottle
  • A change of clothes (a couple of sets is recommended, especially for toilet training/play time can be messy!)
  • Babies & toddlers should have formula or expressed breastmilk – depending on feeding routine
  • Any medication where required
  • A dummy in a named container (if required)

We’ll also let you know if there’s anything specific to remember to pack.

Can I take a tour of the Riverstone centre?

We’d love you to – we welcome all new parents and families to book in for a tour of our new facilities. You can meet our caring educators, experience the play areas yourself, and get an idea of how your little one might fit into our Riverstone daycare centre.

How many children are being cared for each day?

Day to day numbers will vary depending on bookings. We also organise classes for age groups, to ensure that children are able to learn and engage at a pace that suits their development stage.

The educator to child ratio will always ensure that there are more than enough educators on each day. The NSW standards for childcare are:

  • 0-24 months: 1:4 ratio
  • 24 months – 36 months: 1:5 ratio
  • 36 months – 6 years old: 1:10 ratio
Will I get updates throughout the day?

Absolutely. We provide real-time photo and diary updates to all parents – so you can get a sense of your child’s day, their favourite activities, and the fun they’re getting up to!
